Starting bottom right and reading backwords gives: "three lots of eight" which is 24.

Checkers

Need a hint?

The checkers placement is key.

You can only read it one way up

The white checkers shows the first digit and the black the second.

Focus on the game pieces.

The game pieces have been placed carefully on the board.

What are the game pieces not showing you?

Picking out the letters covered by the game pieces gives you "it, en, e, ge and h". These can be rearranged to spell eighteen.

Crossword

Need a hint?

The number at the start of each row is important.

The numbers at the start of each row tells you the shift in letter.

The first row has been shifted by 1, the second by 2....

You need to shift the letters back. The top row go back 1, the second row back 2 etc.. Doing this gives "count the number of blacked out squares then double this". There are 17 blacked out squares, double this to give 34.

Dominoes

Need a hint?

The Domino placement is key.

Each letter has one or two dominoes placed purposefully above or below the letter.

The letter D has a total of 10 below it.

The total of 10 below D tells you to go down the alphabet 10 times to N. The total of 6 above O tells you to go up 6 to i. Continuing this gives you nineteen.

Monopoly

Need a hint?

The house placement is key.

The number of houses on each property is important.

The 3 houses on Oxford Street - F.

The number of houses tells you which letter in the property name to take. For Regent Street, there are two houses to take the E. Doing this for each property gives the letters F, E, I and V. Rearranged these spell five.

The arrow helps. Say what you see.

There are four cups of tea, four tea, forty.

Poker

Need a hint?

The cards are key.

Each card has been picked carefully to give a five letter word.

Each card is one letter, the ace of hearts = H.

The ace of hearts tells you to take the first letter from hearts, for the two of hearts, take the second letter and so on. This gives you the letters h, e, r, t and e. Rearranged this gives three.

Scrabble

Need a hint?

Focus on the word solution.

How many points?

The board is symmetrical.

Scoring the word solution (and using the fact the board is symmetrical) gives the solution. Each letter is worth 1 with the L and second O being on triple letter score spaces. This gives 1 + 1 + (1x3) + 1 + 1 + 1 + (1x3) + 1 = 12.
